My stay was marked by a delightful dinner that showcased their innovative Mediterranean cuisine, which I found refreshing. The intimate restaurant ambiance, paired with warm, attentive service, made the evening feel extraordinarily personal. I opted for the beef medallions, which were cooked to perfection-tender and bursting with flavor. My fiancé chose the family's own Merlot, an exquisite pairing that elevated our meal even further, and we left wishing we could take a bottle home. Breakfast was equally impressive, featuring a balanced selection of fresh fruits, local cheeses, and excellent coffee, all served by a particularly friendly hostess who added a personal touch to our morning. The room we stayed in was spacious, offering stunning views of the lush gardens. With easy access to local transport and a serene environment, the Schloss-Castel is perfectly situated for exploring Merano. Christine and Daniel went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, especially when I required assistance during our stay.
